position - linguistic software tester (on-demand project based & freelance job)

key responsibilities of this position
• perform quality assurance tasks for a wide variety of translated software, web and hand-held applications and devices.
• report linguistic and/or functional errors
• complete the assigned tasks and be punctual.

main qualification
• currently residing in apac timezone, with us english as good as natives
• large vocabulary in more than one area in both english us and simplified chinese(mandarin)
• quickly able to translate (written and verbal)
• prefer experience with both ios and android mobile devices or experience with both pcs and macs but not must
• bachelor's degree in engineering or (humanities) or master's degree level education (any subject) or linguistics or language degree or any field.
• should be determined, inquisitive and curious
• should love puzzles and problem-solving
• passionate about language
• use up-to-date technology in their own lives
• self-starter, able to work independently

hourly rate – negotiable and we can discuss or let me know your expected rate per hour

the application process is as follows;
step 1: checking your qualification if fits with our requirement and rate negotiation.
step 2: test your linguistic skills with our 2 tests. (you can do the test at your home)
step 3: if you pass the tests, then you will be registered into our database and you will be in the list of pending for training session.
step 4: once our team setup the training schedule, they will contact you with invitation for free 8 hours training session (online via an application) during 09:30 am-18:00 pm. training session might be divided into 2 days (4 hours per day)
step 5: during training, we will assess if you have potentiality to work for this role. if you are passed by assessment during training session, when our client have a job for your native language, our team will contact you for further info. of the assignment.
