Accompanying the launch of the Patent Law of the People's Republic of China, China Patent Agent (H.K.) Ltd. (CPA) was incorporated in Hong Kong in March 1984 and is one of the three pioneer Chinese IP agencies. CPA provides comprehensive IP services to its clients in China and abroad, with particular expertise in application prosecution, litigation, mediation, licensing, assignment and counseling in relation to patents, trademarks, copyrights, domain names, anti-unfair competition, and other IP-related areas. It also prosecutes patents, trademarks and designs applications for its clients in the Hong Kong SAR. Apart from its Hong Kong-based main office, the firm also has offices in Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, New York, Tokyo and Munich.
