your task:
- facilitate effective communication between head of qa/qc team (english/german speaking) and chinese speaking staff.
- relay concepts and ideas between these languages.
- attend meetings and workshops and act as official translator.
- convert written materials from one language into another, such as technical documents, standards, or web pages.
- edit and proofread text to accurately reflect language.
- receive and submit assignments electronically.

your profile:
- knowledge and experience in translation. technical background is appreciated.
- a good degree in at least one language (english or german).
- strong general knowledge.
- good memory.
- patience.
- working in a comparable position for at least 2 years, preferred in industry.
- willing to work independently, determined and flexible in cooperation with our
head of qa/qc team.
- chinese as mother language.
- excellent command in english both in oral and written.
- use dictionaries and glossaries for reference.
- german knowledge is of advantage.
- it skills (ms windows, ms office, adobe and similar)
- ready for travelling.
- good appearance and friendly tone essential.
- follow ethical codes that protect the confidentiality of information.
