Intern (for graduates)

Working at Z-Ben Advisors means extensive hands-on experience in China’s financial services industry. Interns will be provided the opportunity to work with colleagues from several divisions within the firm: 1) Research, 2) Consulting, and 3) Investment Solutions. Interns are a valued part of the Z-Ben team and are invited to partake in training sessions on current issues impacting China’s financial markets, and their impact on our analyses and recommendations. Although this is an unpaid program, participants will be afforded the opportunity to develop their professional network in Shanghai; by the end of their internship, individuals will have garnered a strong foundation and understanding of China’s capital markets, investors and major players.

Dual fluency in Mandarin and English is strongly preferred, but not a requirement. The intern must be able to work in a multi-cultural, fast-paced environment, but more importantly, must show proactive willingness to problem-solve and volunteer ideas & solutions. At the conclusion of the program, interns may be extended a full-time offer as an Analyst, based on merit, demonstrated work, and position availability, but is not 100% guaranteed.

Responsibilities:

1. Research and analyze important industry, capital market and regulatory trends
2. Conduct quantitative and qualitative research initiatives to support internal or external deliverables
3. Work creatively and independently to produce high-quality output, under the general guidance of senior staff members
4. Conduct prospecting and cold calls to global financial institutions
5. Contribute to corporate due diligence process
6. Create company and key investment personnel dossiers
7. Develop marketing material (in both Chinese and English)
8. General Excel, PowerPoint, and Word tasks
9. General translation work (Chinese – English)
10. Coordination of high-level meetings between Z-Ben staff and external clients

Requirements:

1. Graduates and alumni (class of 2014/2015) with BA/BS Degree or above
2. Professional business fluency in both Mandarin and English strong preferred
3. Background or interest in investment management, finance, or economics
4. Strong writing and communication skills
5. Physical availability to work in Shanghai, full time
6. MS Office skills


Work hour

Interns are required to work for three months (approximately 12~13 weeks), Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Subsidy and Insurance

We provide RMB 40 per day as incentive support if interns show up on time and work whole day.
The interns are offered a term life and accidental insurance during the internship

2,Marketing Intern

Responsibilities:

1. Develop branding and marketing campaigns by utilizing social media tools (e.g. on-line promotional campaigns, online advertising, viral marketing, etc.)
2. Assist in development of marketing activities and tactical promotions in accordance to corporate marketing strategies
3. Assist in the distribution or delivery of marketing materials
4. Oversee creation of marketing materials
5. Perform analysis of marketing and sales data
6. Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on and offline
7. Create a long term social media plan and marketing calendar


Requirements:

1. University graduate or above, major in Business/Marketing or equivalent is preferable
2. Familiarity with social networking sites
3. High proficiency in English language with good communication & presentation skills
4. Proficiency in Computer & MS Office suite, Adobe Photoshop & similar graphic solutions.
5. Positive and creative thinking, good analytical skills with process-orientation
6. Organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and target prospective client business,
2. Conduct conference calls, face to face meetings with the primary goal to prospect new industry contacts
3. Promote the Company's products and services to corporate and / or business customers
4. Assist Account Executive to develop a variety of deliverables and provide a superior on-going support to existing clients
5. Develop relationships with executive level contacts

Requirements:

1. English is a must, Mandarin and Japanese is preferred
2. Understanding of financial markets preferred
