welocalize is looking for dedicated proofreader who can sit in welocalize china or japan office to proofread the projects from our client, which is a global furniture and home accessories company. this campaign will begin in the middle of march then will last 4-6 months. simplified chinese, japanese and indonesian native linguists who are specialized in e-learning or online training translation are welcomed!

the required working places include:

welocalize china - beijing office: d610, guanghualu soho2 9 guanghua road chaoyang district beijing, 100010 china

welocalize china - jinan office: b1001, wanda plaza 5 jingsi road jinan, 250001 china

welocalize japan office: kdx kayabacho building, 5f 3-4-2 nihonbashi kayabacho, chuo-ku tokyo 103-0025 japan

qualifications:
business level english communication skill
high reading comprehension in english as proofreader
evaluate/cross-check the translation based on general knowledge of the local country and furniture and home accessories industry
finalize the translation into fluent local languages by picking up unnatural phrases
work with other divisions to make sure if the translation is suitable as training material on their system, and coordinate with them to have the minimum post modification (this is by training basis)
