联合国教科文组织驻华代表处文化部招募中国实习生一名,为期6个月,已经入学或在读的硕士或博士研究生都可以申请。具有中英文笔译能力强的申请者将被优先考虑。感兴趣的申请者请将个人中英文简历发至beijing@unesco.org;请在邮件标题处标明:姓名-现在所在地-可以开始工作的时间。

Profile:
- Postgraduate or Ph.D. student at a University or equivalent institution. Major in culture-related fields (heritage, art history, architecture, archaeology, tourism, etc.) would be an asset. Experience of oversea study would be an asset.
- Outstanding translation and editing skills in Chinese and English language
- Remarkable IT skills including using software like Illustrator and etc. for designing project visibility materials
- Dedicated and keen in learning and assisting with administrative and coordinative tasks
- Highly responsible, proactive, and diligent, as well as having strong team-work spirit
Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist for Culture, the Contractor will perform the following functions:
- Assist in the implementation of cultural projects and activities related to preservation and management of cultural and natural heritage, safe guarding of intangible cultural heritage and culture & creative industry.
- Assist with drafting, translation, editing and proof-reading of project-related documents, speeches, press-releases and reports.
- Provide assistance to administrative tasks including travel arrangements, coordination & communication, preparation of culture events, documentation and filing system etc.
- Undertake other tasks that maybe assigned by the Supervisor.

- The aim of the internship is to provide you with professional experience in an international organization which relates to and supplements your studies.
- This internship offers you the opportunity to work in a multicultural, intergovernmental organization.
- UNESCO does not remunerate or pay interns.Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
- As the internship programme is not connected with the recruitment process, the grating of an internship should not be interpreted in any way as a preliminary step towards employment at the Secretariat.
