Post: Assistant for Senior staff Photographer

Job responsibilities:
1. Finding stories in Chinese newspapers to see what happens in recent times.
2. help to research and generate story ideas, monitor China’s social media, track down sources and join the photographers on photo assignments
3. Research topics will include daily life, environment, business, travel, economic trends and politics.
4. Finding anything interesting (for the purpose of PHOTO REPORTAGE)
5. Keeping in contact with the interviewees

Job requirements:
1. Proficiency in English, Spoken and written
2. Good interpersonal and communication skills
3. understanding of Chinese culture
4. Ready knowledge about journalism and interest in photography will be a bonus
5. you should enjoy following the news about current events in China.
6. you should be highly motivated, not easily discouraged, creative and show initiative.


Points you may care to notice:
1. Working time would be very flexible, but you must notice that altogether 3 days per week is a minimum.
2. You will gain some training in, picture editing, interviewing skills and storytelling.
3. Living in Shanghai is a must for the period of the internship
4. The internship will be at least for a period of 6 month
