Shanghai, 27 March 2015: While the Equestrian Industry is booming in China, the Northern part of the country has made most of the major investments in the field with the construction of several high-end Equestrian Centers and the purchase of top-end horses from China and Overseas. After a very successful first edition, SO! DALIAN, China’s first Beach Polo and Marine Lifestyle Show, is returning to the shore of the East Port Marina in Dalian, Liaoning, where it will welcome for the first time an Equestrian Pavilion with a clear target of recruiting more and more passionate horseback riders and boat lovers.

The recreational horse sector in 2012 represented less than 1 Billion US in China but its annual growth is close to 20% according to the Chinese Horse Federation, while the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s annual return in 2012/13 represented over 12 Billion US. The rising middle-class is a definite target and will contribute to the fast development of the industry in China. In addition, the increasing number of events, schools and other related Equestrian activities has contributed to ensure a positive image in China of a sport considered to be a must in a good education. This will generate strong needs in terms of facilities, services, equipment, horse transactions, training of coaches and more.
