Profile:
- Postgraduate or Ph.D. student at aUniversity or equivalent institution. Major in culture-related fields (heritage,architecture, tourism, etc.) would be an asset. English speaker or experienceof oversea study would be an asset.

- Excellent command of English and Chinese(oral and written).

- Good sense of teamwork, adaptability, and commitmentto assigned tasks.

- Goodcomputer and IT skills and experience in using office software packages.

- Goodcommunication skills, including writing skills.

Responsibilities:
Underthe direct supervision of the Programme Specialist for Culture, the Contractorwill perform the following functions:

- Assistwith drafting, translation, editing and proof-reading of project-relateddocuments, speeches, press-releaseand reports.

- Assistin the implementation of cultural projects and activities related to preservationand management of cultural tangibleheritage.

- Provideassistance to administrative tasks includingtravel arrangements, activitypreparation, coordination and communication, etc.

- Undertakeother tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

- Theaim of the internship is to provide you with professional experience in aninternational organization which relates to and supplements your studies.
- Thisinternship offers you the opportunity to work in a multicultural, intergovernmentalorganization.
- UNESCOdoes not remunerate or pay interns. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodationand living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoringinstitutions.
