因2019年暑期培训需要，我们拟聘请短期全职语言文化老师（约18个工作岗位）。工作地点：成都，4个培训点。提供培训。
we are seeking language/culture facilitators (lcf) for 2019 summer training in chengdu (about 18 vacant positions).


position summary
contract time includes two periods:
a. training of trainers in the two weekends of may and one weekend of june
b. working as lcf in the period of june 17 – august 17, or july 1-august 17, 2019.

this is a full time and short term job. employees need to work five days per week, and eight hours per day during the contract time.

the language/culture facilitator (lcf) works closely with other training staff to design, implement, and evaluate a professional training program. the language and culture training aims to develop effective mandarin speaking skills, culture and cross culture integration skills, and knowledge and attitudes necessary for trainees to work effectively in their future project assignments. at a designated training site, with a group of 5-6 trainees, the lcf provides formal and informal instruction to trainees on a daily basis using a variety of communicative approaches.

qualifications and requirements
minimal qualifications
• fluency in spoken and written mandarin. having 2 a mandarin level certificate or above.
• good english written and oral skills befitting a professional work environment.
• availability for the full training schedule
• experience in teaching a foreign/second language
• a bachelor’s degree in tcfl, linguistics, chinese, english, or other related field
• demonstrated ability to work extended hours in a fast-paced environment
• keen knowledge of student-centered learning approaches

desired qualifications:
• experience teaching mandarin to foreigners in a classroom setting
• experience teaching chinese culture to foreigners
• proven ability to work with a diverse group in an effective and harmonious manner
• proven flexibility in adapting new teaching methods
• understanding of peace corps’ mission and service in china.
• experience providing effective verbal and written performance feedback
