in-flight commercial interpreter, shanghai

general description of duties and responsibilities

you are responsible to assist our chinese customers on board with the knowledge of af products and services you have acquired during the intensive training with the company.

the duties cover everything from delivering chinese cultural awareness briefing to our crew members to customer prospection on board the flight. the tasks assumed by the interpreters are to ensure customers satisfaction throughout the flight, with an ultimate goal to make them become our loyal customers.

to participate cabin crew briefing with the support of chinese cultural& practice brochure
to promote air france products and service through presence in the cabin and effective
to assist cabin crew and customers during the meal service and duty free sales, and be responsive to their needs and enquiries on board
to provide regularly customers feedbacks to the chief purser and your line manager
to check the presence of inflight chinese poructs and report to chief purser in the event of non-conformity
to perform all chinese inflight announcements

job requirements & qualifications
university graduate or equivalent
fluent in french and mandarin, both in writing and speaking, plus good command of enligsh
good communication skill, customer-service minded with good commercial sense
sales background and advantage
extensive knowledge in both chinese and french culture is highly desirable
